The world of marketing was created as a way to attract people to a brand or business in hopes that people will buy what they’re selling or use its services. In the land of digital marketing there are two ways that marketers attract an audience and lead them to your site the first is organic marketing. When traveling by way of organic marketing you run off naturally driven fuel; meaning that you naturally attract your audience to your brand or business. Follow me along the road and you will learn a bit about paid and organic marketing so that you can choose which is best for your brand or business.
Organic Marketing Strategies
The main goal of organic marketing is to increase brand awareness and build a connection with your audience by attracting people to your site in hopes that they become paid customers (Riserbato, 2021). Organic marketing drives traffic to your site by way of social media channels, utilizing SEO, ensure that your keywords are related accurately to your business and the types of products or services you are promoting. Doing so will ensure that your business stays on the top of people’s minds when they go to make purchasing decisions. Driving people to your site isn’t the endgame as you will want to keep an eye on the road to ensure that your marketing efforts continue to take your audience to its destination. “When measuring how effective your organic marketing efforts are you will want to look at what content drives the most traffic to your site, leads generated from your campaigns, and which channels drive the highest amount of high converting traffic to your site” (Riserbato, 2021). Before we get into paid marketing, I want to share with you some examples of organic marketing strategies.

Paid Marketing Strategies
Turing onto a different avenue, Paid Marketing helps drive an audience to your site by ways of search ads, paid social media ads, sponsored posts, display ads, and video ads on YouTube, etc (Risberbato, 2021). Using these vehicles to drive traffic to your site allows you to grow your audience quickly. Utilizing paid media tactics allows you reach people who might have never heard of your site, business, and its products or services. Like with organic marketing strategies, you will want to keep an eye on the road to ensure that your marketing efforts continue to take your audience to its destination. Measuring the success of your paid marketing strategies is done by way of driving impressions, achieving high conversation rates, return on ad spend (ROAS), ect (Risberbato, 2021). Next, I want to share with you some Pros and Cons of both organic and paid marketing strategies but before I do so I want to reshare with you some examples of paid marketing strategies.

When it’s time to choose between marketing methods you want to keep in mind that while paid marketing may offer instant results and precise targeting, it can be most effective when you combine it with organic marketing strategies. “Combining both paid and organic strategies will help build your brands credibility and establish long term relastionships with your customers” (Markov, 2022). This can also create a strong marketing approach that is also inclusive further strengthens the bond between your brand, company, and your audience. References:
